I too often have that feeling, paired with a longing to attain that satisfaction that we do not yet know. I am reminded of CS Lewis' writings on his longing for what he called "joy", his term for the satisfaction that we can only glimpse while here on earth. Until we get it, we will have days where we are sick of everything, just as you describe. It is truly a large part of the human condition. Thus we have Bono, Neo, CS Lewis, you, me, Madonna, etc all longing for the same thing. Thankfully, as believers we will one day realize it. Think on, my friend. I hear you, Dave.
